Nirzari and Megan's India Project
This Blog
This blog was created by Megan and Nirzari. We plan to use this blog to document our encounters with Indian culture both in India and outside of India. This summer, Nirzari will be in India for two months and will blog/journal her stay. Megan, while not going to India this summer, will be researching Indian culture. This blog will serve as a compilation of our endeavors. This blog isn't all about historical research or anything of that sort. Instead, it is just about what we find, what we want, and our learning experiences. While Nirzari needs to practice her Gujarati alphabit, geography, and history, Megan needs to learn both Gujarati and Hindi words, research Indian history, and prepare for future journeys to India. Also, the title of our blog came from the one Indian food that we always make at Nirzari's house as well as the Hindi word for friend/buddy. The best Roti we ever made was created this past weekend. It was both flat, round, and not burnt. We will probably have a video of us making a roti up pretty soon. Megan is always in charge of shaping the Roti, while Nirzari always deals with the stove part of the process.
